Overview
With a mission to create happy, memorable experiences through innovative products, mil risas partnered with Sandrine Zoo to bring playful energy into evening tours. The project aimed to enhance nighttime engagement while keeping setup costs low. The vibrant LED Half moon chair became the perfect solution—fun, practical, and dazzlingly photogenic.
Challenges
We primarily rely on daytime ticket sales, limiting our growth potential. Nighttime tours and light events are a trend, but electrical upgrades, wiring, and large installations mean high costs, approval pressures, and safety risks. We need nighttime highlights, but we can’t afford the long-term burden of heavy renovations.
Many families leave after 2-3 hours. There’s a lack of interactive focal points and comfortable spaces to linger, and no clear visual attractions at night. Without photo opportunities and rest stops, visitors won’t naturally stay, and we lose “stay value” and secondary spending opportunities.
Competition is no longer just about animal species, but “whether it’s shareable.” If visitors don’t have photos to post after they leave, we lose free marketing. We need visually impactful scenes, but we don’t want to invest in bulky, permanent installations that are difficult to change themes for.
Exposure to sunlight, rain, trampling, and climbing causes traditional lighting fixtures to break frequently. Repeated repairs or replacements not only increase costs but also damage the image. We need durable, easy-to-clean, and long-term usable equipment, not short-term decorations.
Solution
Upgrade the nighttime experience with low risk, rather than large-scale renovations.
By using LED devices powered by rechargeable lithium batteries, no wiring or electrical modifications are required, avoiding approval pressures and safety hazards. For long-term deployment, a DC12V/DC24V power supply can also be used. The lamp holders are detachable and rechargeable, making operation simple and requiring no professional electrician team. Upgrading the nighttime atmosphere is no longer an engineering project, but a flexible operational strategy.
